While You Were Sleeping: Drama Synopsis & Review
The drama is mixed with romance, fantasy, and the legal theme in such an intriguing way. While You Were Sleeping focuses on three people who can see the future through a dream. They are the field reporter Nam Hong-joo, the prosecutor Jung Jae-chan, and the police officer Han Woo-tak. Initially, Jung Jae-chan dreamed of Nam Hong-joo. She was involved in a car accident with the lawyer Lee Yoo-beom which puts her in a coma for a year, and the car hit Han Woo-tak while he was on duty. Cunningly, Yoo-beom made Nam Hong-joo the culprit of the incident and accused as the killer. Then, Jung Jae-chan tries to prevent the dream from happening by making a plan to help Nam Hong-joo and prevent the death of Han Woo-tak. Even though Jae-chan denies his ability to see the future in the first place, he ends up cooperating with Nam Hong-joo and Han Woo-tak to halt any bad tragedies in the future.
